Frankenstein Popcorn Brain
This is a fun recipe where popcorn is coated with colored marshmallow and given a brain shape. Perfect for coming Halloween party!
1/4 cup butter
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
5 drops green food coloring
3 drops yellow food coloring
Flavored twist candy, optional
4 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
1 bag (76.3 g each) Simply Salted Microwave Popcorn
- Start by spraying non-stick oil in a large bowl, rubber spatula, and the wax paper. Set it aside. Next, prepare popcorn according to the instructions given on the packet and place them in a large bowl.
- Microwave the marshmallows and butter on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, while stirring occasionally. Add food coloring; stir to combine.
- Pour the melted colored marshmallow mixture over popped corn. Toss the mixture with a rubber spatula to coat. Cool until mixture is easy to handle.
- Next, divide the mixture and shape into 2 'brain lobes'. Place the lobes on waxed paper and press them together. Cool until set.
- Transfer the brain to serving platter; decorate with candy, if desired.
Valentine Popcorn Mix
This amazing popcorn recipe combines peanut butter coated popcorn along with rosy pink coated cereal, pretzel pieces, and dried cranberries.
1 cup white morsels
8 drops red food coloring
4 cups crispy corn cereal squares
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 cups tiny pretzel twists, broken into pieces
1 bag (76.3 g each) Orville Microwave Popcorn
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Next, take a big bowl and place cereal in it. Keep it aside. Takemicrowave safe bowl and place oil and morsels in it.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stirring occasionally. Add food coloring and stir to blend it completely. Spoon the mixture over cereal and stir to coat. Spread the mixture on a pan and refrigerate until firm.
- Next prepare the popcorn according to the given instructions and remove the unpopped kernels. Combine popped corn and pretzel pieces in an extra-large bowl. Heat peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave it on high for 30 seconds.
- Drizzle the mixture over popcorn mixture and toss to coat. Place confectioners' sugar and popcorn in food storage bag and shake.
- Place popcorn mixture and coated cereal in a serving bowl and add cranberries. Give it a gentle toss to combine.
Store leftovers in air tight container.You can use a container that used to store coffee bean. The coffee containers are made of high quality material and won’t easily permit air to go into the container. It keeps the content fresh.
